I'm a little bit terrified of motorcycles, but I think I'd like to ride one.

Tiny Cow

Took this while driving on the backroads to my mama's house. Sometimes the middle of nowhere is really beautiful.

Silver Glove

Accessories are kind of an obsession for me. I hoard them. Scarves, purses, hats... an entire drawer dedicated entirely to sunglasses. It's just what I like. Ring on every finger, piles of bracelets and necklaces. The more the better. Which is why I am thrilled that we are finding new and unusual ways to adorn ourselves. I might just turn into my own knight in shining armor.

Goth Granddaughter

Today my doctor asked me if I am goth. He then asked if that is related to emo. It brought me back to the days when my grandpa used to call me his "goth granddaughter" simply because I was addicted to my black hair dye. Can't a girl just like the color black?

I do however love Gareth Pugh's Fall 2011 collection, and he is pretty much the reining dark prince of fashion. He makes goth look spectacular. If this is goth, sign me up.

iPod Tripod

Okay, so this is actually an iPhone not at iPod, but "iPod Tripod" just rolls off the tongue better. Yeah? Yeah. Now that we have that out of the way let me just say, I can be a tad lazy when it comes to projects. I like to take shortcuts. I am not always precise. Sometimes I'm downright sloppy. This was one of those times, but I'm still pleased with the result.

How to Construct your very own iPod Tripod

Supplies:

1) My old gorillapod tripod purchased at Best Buy, 2) Hot glue gun, or any strong adhesive really 3) Scissors (I really hope you know what those are, or your crafting future may be doomed) 4) Old and moldy iPhone connector USB connector cable thingy 5) Your iPhone/iPod with lots of photography apps!

Take your old barely working cable you were ready to throw out anyway...

...and hack the top right off.

Take said top, and glue that shit right onto the front of your tripod.

Ta-Dah!

Now test it out! Works like a dream.

You're so impressed with my skills, right? In reality I was just trying to find a good use for this tripod since it doesn't seem to have the ability to hold the weight of my "real" (35mm) camera very well, and thus has been under my bed gathering dust. Now it has a purpose in life.

35mm

1. Fort Funston (abnormally large) crow
2. Sometimes I wear ponchos (in fields)
3. Field of flowers (finding nature in San Francisco)
4. Voodoo Donuts Portland, OR ("the magic is in the hole")
5. Wallpaper at Ace Hotel Seattle, WA (obsessed)
6. Pike Place Seattle, WA (avoided the fish)

I'm really bad at finishing a roll of film. Or going to get it developed for that matter. These have been taken in various places at various times over the course of the year so far.
